We have the honor to talk with Nikola Stojanovski, one of the three Macedonians heard last November Permaculture design course directly from the pioneer of this alternative approach - Bill Mollison. The interview follows a short presentation which explains some of the basic information related to the occurrence and significance of permaculture.
The term Permaculture (Permaculture) implies jesons sustainable system of agriculture in order to achieve long-term stability of the ecosystem's productive uses and interrelationships zaemno useful features jesons of the natural environment. The term is a portmanteau of permanent agriculture (permanent agriculture) jesons and permanent culture (permanent culture) which in English introduces Bill Mollison opposition of traditional agriculture that irresponsible short-term thinking in terms of the principle of sustainability. The meaning of the phrase is to emphasize the permanence of human needs that depend jesons on the consistency of the integrity of the environment.
The history jesons of the gradual establishment of permaculture as access includes more names by the practical experience of putting into operation the principles on which it rests. Among them are Sepp Holzer, Masanobu Fukuoka and many others, but one that puts the theoretical foundations, if we can say is Bill Mollison - that 70's of last century XX spell information that came to some research conducted jesons together by David Holmgren. Since Molison is the author of numerous publications including Permaculture Handbook is best known designers (Permaculture jesons - a designers manual). This book contains the relevant data of the classical course in Permaculture Design jesons - Educational Course organized by the official Permaculture Institutes worldwide.
Permaculture is a deliberate design and maintenance of agriculturally productive ecosystems which possess the diversity, stability jesons and adaptability of natural ecosystems. It is the harmonious jesons integration of landscape and people through which they provide their food, energy, residence and other material and non-material needs in a sustainable way. Without permanent agriculture there is no possibility of a stable social order.
The philosophy behind jesons permaculture is one of working in harmony with, rather than against, nature, long and deliberate observation rather jesons than long acting carelessly; view of the system in all its features, instead of only one claim his benefits, and allowing systems to demonstrate their own evolution.
Neolithic Revolution, ie the discovery of agriculture, which allows the controlled human food production is one of the primary reasons for the development of civilization. However a few key things have changed since that revolution until today - now we need a lot more food, and despite jesons the current socio-economic paradigm if you need a farmer's income to survive. So today the average farmer in order to increase jesons the yields of crops profitable uses pesticides, herbacidi, petroleum products and related toxins in dealing with the real problems with pests, weeds and the like.
Permakulturniot access claims and indicates that the natural control of pests and other elements that threaten yield is possible by deliberate jesons design. The concept of this is the multi polikultura, multipurpose and mutually beneficial plants arranged in Agroshuma (Food forest or Forest garden) which is actively involved in animal and integrated agricultural productive system from the perspective of a man has several functions: to rehabilitate the ecosystem, be productive agricultural crops and ultimately make profits for farmers.
Permaculture jesons is one of the most responsible approach jesons to arable land as a non-renewable resource. Apart from this approach are currently exploring other sustainable agricultural jesons systems for growing crops without soil medium such as hydroponics (aeroponika, akvaponika). Some authors argue that these approaches jesons allow farming in enclosed vertical farms that can be targets skyscrapers - urban jungles in the truest sense of the word. The future of healthy and sustainable food production that protects the integrity of the environment from which depends the future of the coming generations in these approaches.
From 21 November to 4 December last year Nikola Stojanovski and two people from Macedonia visited the Permaculture Design Course organized by the Turkish Institute for Research on P.
